Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 1 January 2025
VibraPress is committed to making vibrapress.com usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We design and build the site to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for everyone.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This baseline is widely recognised as the practical standard for international digital accessibility requirements, including the EU Web Accessibility Directive, the European Accessibility Act, the UK Equality Act, the US Section 508 / ADA expectations, and similar frameworks in other major markets.
We do not claim formal certification; this statement reflects our self-assessment and ongoing work. We do not use accessibility “overlay” widgets, badges, or one-click compliance tools as a substitute for fixing the underlying site.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML (landmarks, headings, lists, buttons, forms) so assistive technologies can parse the page reliably.
- Maintain a single, clear
<h1>per page and a logical heading order. - Provide a “Skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Keep all interactive elements operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
- Use design tokens that meet WCAG AA contrast for body text and UI controls.
- Build dialogs, menus, and the cookie consent flow on accessible component primitives (Radix UI / shadcn) for correct ARIA, focus trapping, and keyboard behaviour.
- Honour
prefers-reduced-motionby minimising non-essential animation for users who opt out. - Provide meaningful alt text for informative images and empty
alt=""for purely decorative ones. - Label form fields, use proper input types, and provide
autocompleteattributes where relevant. - Avoid conveying meaning by colour alone; status and errors are communicated by text and icons too.
- Support text zoom up to at least 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Use
min-h-dvhrather than viewport-based heights that break on mobile browsers.
Known limitations
We are actively improving the site. At the time of last review, the following areas are still being worked on or carry known limitations:
- Mobile navigation menu: on very small viewports, the primary navigation collapses to the “Join the waitlist” action only. A dedicated mobile menu with full link list is on the roadmap.
- Third-party services: when you click through to TidyCal to book a call, that experience is provided by a third party and may not match our accessibility level. Email hello@vibrapress.com if you need an alternative way to reach us.
- PDF or downloadable documents: we currently do not host any. If we add downloadable documents in future, we will provide accessible alternatives where required.
- Independent audit: this statement reflects internal review. We have not yet commissioned an external WCAG 2.2 AA audit; it is on our roadmap before general availability.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with recent versions of:
- Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on desktop and mobile.
- VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android), NVDA and JAWS (Windows).
- Keyboard-only navigation and common voice-control tools.
Report a barrier
If you encounter something that is difficult or impossible to use, please tell us. We treat accessibility feedback as a priority. Include the page URL, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you used, if you can.
- Email: hello@vibrapress.com
- Or use our contact page.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days and to resolve substantive issues within 30 days where reasonably possible.
Enforcement (EU users)
If you are an EU resident and you are not satisfied with our response, you may also raise the matter with your national accessibility enforcement body under the EU Web Accessibility Directive or your country’s implementation of the European Accessibility Act.
Updates to this statement
We review this statement at least once a year and after any significant change to the site. The date at the top reflects the latest review.
